AMDの次世代モバイルプロセッサ"Griffin"は65nmプロセスを採用したデュアルコアプロセッサである。
各コアに1MBのL2キャッシュを搭載し、TDPは従来と同じ35Wになる。
そして、基本的な部分はAMD64シリーズを流用して制作されており、AMDはノースブリッジに注力したようです。
特徴としてはCPUのコアごとに電源を独立させており、これによって効率的な電力管理が行えるようになった。それだけでなくプロセッサの周波数を8段階で管理できるようにしたことで、コアの電源電圧をさらに下げることが可能となり省電力化につながる。
